Dear Holmwood Utilities Customers:

As you know drought conditions are effecting water systems all over the state and unfortunately we too are not immune. In the last 24 hrs our water production has dropped by 40%. This reduction in production has triggered a Drought Condition II status.

Condition II water shortage consists of the mandatory restriction of outdoor water uses such as car washing, landscape irrigation, dust control and other exterior uses. Customers are required to limit exterior water use to Sundays and Thursdays for customers with a street address ending in an even number(0, 2, 4, 6 or 8), and Saturdays and Wednesdays for water customers with a street address ending in an odd number (1, 3, 5, 7 or 9), and to irrigate landscapes only between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. on designated watering days.

I can’t communicate enough how imperative it is that each customer do their part in adhering to these guidelines. If production decreases any more it will trigger Condition III or possibly Condition IV which would eliminate water usage outside all together and possibly limit consumption inside as well. I know this is not what we want so I implore that each customer do their part.
