Implementation-Plan meeting to discuss the Tributaries of the Neches River below Lake Palestine to be held March 25th

A meeting to discuss the upcoming Implemenation Plan (I-Plan) for tributaries of the Neches River below Lake Palestine will be held virtually on March 25th at 10am. The specific water bodies to be discussed are Jack Creek, Hurricane Creek, Cedar Creek, and Biloxi Creek. The meeting is open to the public but registration is required. Full details follow.

The Texas Water Resources Institute, Texas Commission on Environmental Quality and the Angelina and Neches River Authority would like to invite you to this online meeting to discuss the development of the Implementation-Plan (I-Plan) for this watershed. The meeting will discuss the different parts of an I-Plan and potential management measures that can be included to help address the bacteria impairments in Cedar, Hurricane, Jack and Biloxi Creeks (Segments 0604A, 0604B, 0604C and 0604M). The meeting will include a brief update on the current status of the project and a discussion about the I-Plan. Input and guidance concerning management measures and goals for the watershed from local stakeholders are a key part of developing future solutions.
