Employment Conditions:
Salary Range: $17.68 to $23.79 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)

General Duties:
ANRA is seeking a motivated individual to join our team in the role of Class D Water/Wastewater Operator. This is a senior level position that reports to the Operations Manager. The Operations Division operates water and wastewater facilities to achieve compliance with state and federal regulations.
Ideal candidates will exhibit the ability to work with minimal supervision, organizational and communication skills, strong attention to detail and correctness, ability to multi-task, positive attitude, ability to work well with others, strong initiative, ability to meet deadlines, and willingness to accept additional responsibilities.
Primary Duties:
- Operate water and/or wastewater treatment facilities as assigned, in compliance with state and federal regulatory agency guidelines.
- Collect samples, set-up automatic samplers, and coordinate sample collections.
- Learn and understand the methods of sample collection, sample preservation, basic laboratory procedures and analysis to be performed.
- Perform routine, preventative, and emergency repair and maintenance work of water and wastewater treatment facilities and collection and distribution systems.
- Become proficient in the operation of the equipment necessary for the repair and maintenance of water and wastewater treatment facilities, collection and distribution systems.
Desired Qualifications:
Routinely stoop, kneel, bend, and/or squat to install equipment, collect samples, perform tests, and take readings.
High school diploma or equivalent;
Must be insurable for automotive insurance policies;
Capable of working flexible hours and during inclement weather;
Physical ability and agility to deadlift lift 100 lbs. waist high and lift 50 lbs. overhead, climb steps and ladders;
Walk ½ a mile across fairly rugged terrain, including walk/climb steep slopes while carrying equipment;
