ANRA is seeking a motivated individual to join our team in the role of environmental inspector for our On-Site Sewage Facility (OSSF) program. In part, this position will be responsible for the design review, inspection and licensing activities for residential and commercial on-site sewer systems within the River Authority’s jurisdiction. This position plays a critical role in protecting public health by working with affected parties, local officials and community stakeholders to achieve compliance with state and local laws.

This position manages the Authority’s Environmental Laboratory and reports to the Deputy General Manager. The Authority’s Environmental Laboratory performs analyses for surface water, drinking water, and wastewater samples for the Authority’s internal utilities and programs such as environmental water quality monitoring, as well as local municipalities, organizations and the general public, for drinking water and wastewater compliance testing.
