Notices of Non-Compliance with TCEQ Requirements (December 28, 2020)

The Prairie Grove WSC remains under enforcement for violations relating to operational and monitoring activities dating back to 2014. The Angelina & Neches River Authority is working with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) to resolve these non-compliances. The following customer notices are required by the TCEQ as a result of the non-compliances associated with Lead and Copper Monitoring, Disinfection Byproducts Monitoring, and Operational Evaluation Level Reporting. These customer notices have also been mailed directly to every active water customer of the WSC. Boil Water Notice Rescinded (December 8, 2020)

To: Prairie Grove WSC Customers (Public Water System ID # 0030027) Subject: BOIL WATER NOTICE RESCINDED On Tuesday, December 1, 2020, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) required the Prairie Grove WSC public water system (PWS ID Number 0030027) to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform customers, individuals, or employees that due to conditions which occurred recently in the public water system, the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes. Prairie Grove WSC has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore the quality of the water distributed by Prairie Grove WSC used for drinking water or human consumption purposes and has provided TCEQ with laboratory test results that indicate that the water no longer requires boiling prior to use as of December 8, 2020. Boil Water Notice (December 1, 2020)

To: Prairie Grove Water Supply Corporation Customers (Public Water System ID # 0030027) Subject: BOIL WATER NOTIFICATION Due to a water main rupture that resulted in low water pressures for the entire water system, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) has required the Prairie Grove Water Supply Corporation (Prairie Grove WSC) public water system (PWS ID Number 0030027) to notify all customers to boil their water prior to consumption (e.g., washing hands/face, brushing teeth, drinking, etc). Children, seniors, and persons with weakened immune systems are particularly vulnerable to harmful bacteria, and all customers should follow these directions. To ensure destruction of all harmful bacteria and other microbes, water for drinking, cooking, and ice making should be boiled and cooled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes. The water should be brought to a vigorous rolling boil and then boiled for two minutes. In lieu of boiling, individuals may purchase bottled water or obtain water from some other suitable source for drinking water or human consumption purposes. When it is no longer necessary to boil the water, Prairie Grove WSC officials will notify customers that the water is safe for drinking or human consumption purposes. Once the boil water notice is no longer in effect, Prairie Grove WSC will issue a notice to customers that rescinds the boil water notice in a manner similar to this notice. To ensure destruction of all harmful bacteria and other microbes, water for drinking, cooking, and ice making should be boiled and cooled prior to consumption. The water should be brought to a vigorous rolling boil and then boiled for two minutes. In lieu of boiling, you may purchase bottled water or obtain water from other suitable sources. When it is no longer necessary to boil the water, water system officials will notify you that the water is safe for consumption. Instructions to discontinue boiling will be issued in the same manner as this notice. This interruption of service affects the entire water system. The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) required Holmwood Utilities (PWS ID Number 1210020) to notify all customers of the need to boil water prior to consumption. Holmwood Utilities has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore adequate pressure, disinfectant levels, and/or bacteriological quality and has provided TCEQ with testing results that indicate the water no longer requires boiling as of Monday, March 30, 2020. Responding to the COVID-19 Pandemic

The Angelina & Neches River Authority (ANRA) is closely monitoring the unprecedented situation with COVID-19 as it continues to develop, and taking actions as needed. The health, safety, and well-being of our community and of our employees is our top priority, and we want to provide you with some assurances. ANRA is a government-designated critical infrastructure facility, and as such, all essential operational functions, including water and wastewater services, will continue uninterrupted. Online bill pay is available to our customers, and we recommend that you utilize it if you are able. Boil Water Notice (March 26, 2020)

To: Holmwood Utilities Customers (Public Water System ID # 1210020) Subject: BOIL WATER NOTIFICATION On Thursday, March 26, 2020, at approximately 9:00 a.m., Holmwood Utilities experienced a break in a water main that caused interruption of water service. This interruption of service affects the entire water system. The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) has required Holmwood Utilities (PWS ID Number 1210020) to notify all customers of the need to boil their water prior to consumption. Water utility crews are on site making repairs to the water main. ANRA estimate repairs to be complete and water service restored by mid-afternoon, Thursday, March 26, 2020. The boil-water notice will remain in effect until water samples have been collected, tested, and indicate there is no harmful bacteria in the water. To ensure destruction of all harmful bacteria and other microbes, water for drinking, cooking, and ice making should be boiled and cooled prior to consumption. The water should be brought to a vigorous rolling boil and then boiled for two minutes. In lieu of boiling, you may purchase bottled water or obtain water from other suitable sources. When it is no longer necessary to boil the water, water system officials will notify you that the water is safe for consumption. Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) has required the Holmwood Utilities public water system (PWS ID Number 1210020) to notify all customers to boil their water prior to consumption (e.g., washing hands/face, brushing teeth, drinking, etc).
